This book is what can definitely be called as the "life changer".
One of the very first non fictions that I have ever read, it upholds the so called biases that we unknowingly bring in our thought processes.
Have you ever invested time and effort in things just for the sake of the fact that you have been trying on it for a very long time ?
Have you ever felt that you have been praised for the success but blamed for the failures as well. ?
Well, there are at least 99 such 'biases' that the author brings into light and shows us what exactly withholds us from skeptical thinking.
These are the errors, the cognitive biases that people make on a day day to basis.
Throughout the book, I am sure, you will be able to identify yourselves in almost all of the chapters. You would be like "yes, that's me, I do that" or at least you would be able to think of someone you know who does this.
That becomes the whole point of reading the book, identifying the loopholes in our thought process.
Once you are done with the book, hopefully you will be able to think much clearly, be more skeptical, and will be able to check yourselves in time to at least try and prevent some of the thoughts that will cause self harm in near or far future.
