My rating- ★★★★☆

My review-

Forever is true is the concluding part of the Forever series. The first book ends with Prisha being pushed to death by Saveer but somehow she survives. As the story progresses there is an imminent danger to her life where she finds herself losing Saveer too.
She becomes determined to find the truth and thence starts the series of mysterious incidents. In such a incident Diggy gets killed. Saveer and Prisha become determined to know the person behind the truth. However Saveer remains oblivious to the fact that he is being monitored.
Who is this person? is it a he or a she? Why does this person wants to put an end to Saveer's happiness?
Prisha comes close to the answer to all the questions but finds herself abducted by the same person, her life in grave danger. Will Prisha survive?

The second book of the Forever series is in stark contrast to its predecessor. The book has this eerie feeling since the beginning and its actually in this part that all the facts are revealed. The narration keeps the reader on the edge constantly. Starting from all the mysterious happenings to all the schemes against the protagonists to all the plans to catch the culprit the book moves at a rapid pace with not a single dull moment. In the end all the questions are answered and we come to know that the happenings in Saveer's present has deep roots in his past, something which he has forgotten, but not deliberately.
The book highlights a very important issue- how a bad childhood can ruin not only a person's life but it leaves them scarred for the rest of their lives whereby they become harmful to even their near and dear ones.It also reveals how the past tends to become blurry in the light of lies that are fed to children by the adults during their childhood.
The end is however not satisfactory for me- as Saveer still remains oblivious to his past without knowing the exact cause of his plight for a greater part of his life- the rationale being, somethings are better kept a secret.

Characters-

Prisha- Her character in the second book is a more developed one, a determined one. In spite of her life being in danger, she goes on to search the truth. A mature woman, a tender loving huge-hearted lady, she turns out to be more than a traditional lover, she turns out to be this person who would sacrifice anything to keep her loved ones safe.

Saveer- the man with the mysterious past remains as he was in the first book, only his secret is revealed to the readers but not to him. He turns out to be a very loving person, fiercely protective and just like Prisha tries to safeguard his loved ones. He gets his chance at a normal life after 30 long years.

The other characters are as in the first part, include Gauri and Diggy. however the culprit is introduced around the middle of the book, ultimately revealing the cause of Saveer's plight for all these years.

Writing style-

The author makes a come back in this part and gives the readers a jittery experience. One cannot resist turning the pages to find out what is exactly happening and the ending is bound to leave you shocked- more of heartbroken and empathetic for the antagonist.
The writing flows naturally, all the dots being connected sequentially giving the overall picture which is a masterpiece in itself.

I would definitely recommend this book to all the thriller lovers- best part is you can understand the things even by skipping the first part. The blurb of the prequel is enough to connect with the rest of the story.
